Embossing

Embossing is accomplished by applying pressure with male and female dies that fit together and squeeze the paper. The pressure will create a 3d raised effect.uv is also possible and creates a nice effect.

You can emboss a logo, a large title or any shape you want. Embossing on a blank or colored surface is called "blind embossing". Embossing used with hot stamping or spot

DEbossing

Not to be confused with embossing, debossing is the process of applying pressure on the paper to create a cavity. Debossing can be applied with ink (letterpress printing) or without ink (blind debossing).

This option is available only on thick paper without lamination. Debossing will not be visible on the back of the paper.

 Foil Stamping

Adding a foil accent on paper is a great way to make your cards unique. Foil stamping is the application of pigment or metallic foil to a material using a heated die. The foil is stamped onto the material, making it stick to the surface leaving the design of the die on the paper. We can combine foil with embossing to create a more striking 3D image.

We can even use multiple colors of foil to create a showstopper of a card.

Die Cutting

Round corners and die cutting is one of our specialties. We can customize your cards with any shape of your choice.

 

Die cutting is a process used to cut cards to a certain shape. The process starts by producing a die with the desired shape. A press will then push the die on the cards to cut the paper into the desired shape.  Cut-throughs are also possible, make a stunning effect.

Letterpress

Letterpress is a printing process that dates back to the mid-15th century. Most letterpress printing presses are large cast iron machines operated by hand. The engraved artwork is inked and then pressed onto paper to create a debossed image. Each piece becomes a work of art that engage the senses and communicates an elegance and handcrafted quality that can’t be matched by any other printing method. 

Thermography

(Raised Ink)

Raised ink, or thermography, is a process by which a powder is sprinkled over the wet ink, then quickly heated to cause an expansion of the powdered stuff and raise the inked areas.

 

Raised print pops off your card, giving the text or image an irresistible touch. It’s a polished look people want to feel, and a card they don’t want to put down. 

Spot Uv Gloss

Spot UV is a coating applied only in specific areas as opposed to all overcoating. In a Spot UV job, the cards get a UV coating in only specific areas. Spot UV can be referred to as spot varnish or spot gloss.

Spot UV can be applied to a logo or a title.  It can also be applied to a solid color or photo for a nice contrasting effect.

Coloured Edges

Our state of the art technique is carefully achieved with amazing results (no bleeding!). We can color-match any CMYK or standard Pantone colors. We can also produce a few fluorescent colors and some metallic colors such as gold, silver, and copper.

This outstanding option will make your business cards more than unique. We can now match all CMYK colors, most Pantone colors, some metallics and a few neon/fluorescent.

Cold Foil Effects

Cold foil printing offers a unique and stylish look with a metallic finish that will have your customers glowing.   This process offers great versatility that hot foil stamping cannot. 

Any color can now be made into a metallic foil.  We are even able to produce half tones and metallic gradients.  This affordable foil printing option facilitates the of unlimited foil colors on one project with no extra cost.
